Francesca Marabini
Born in Bologna, Italy. Studied Design Technique and Painting in the studio of Alberto Abbati, in Bologna, from 1977-82. Studied at the School of Decorative Arts, "Pardon School", London, in 1991. Graduated from college with a degree in Business Administration in 1988, and has been living and working in Bologna, Italy, since 1991.

 Ariane Hallier
Born in Paris. Graduated from the Academie Charpentier in 1987 with a degree in Graphic Arts. Was awarded a Gold Medal in 1988 at the "Van der Kellen" School of Decorative Arts, Brussles. Has been working in both Paris and Bologna since 1988.

Marabini and Hallier began working together in 1997, in Bologna, where they opened a studio of decorative arts. Their speciality is painted tapestries, either as murals or on canvas, using a techniques which they themselves have developed.
These techniques allows them to decorate any kind of interior walls, even those of bathrooms and kitchens.
A number of their works have been written about and exhibited in various journals and magazines.
They have worked in Bologna, Milan, Florence, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Modena, Treviso, Paris and London.
